Description

Design and implement self-healing, fault-tolerant cloud services and infrastructure environments. Own storage appliances, data protection, and migration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain SAN/NAS storage appliances and solutions for cloud and compute infrastructure.
• Configure data protection using Snapshots and Snap Mirror, including management of Aggregates, Volumes, and LUNs on NetApp filers.
• Execute data migrations to cloud environments using ONTAP.
• Automate patching, vulnerability remediation, and repeatable tasks to improve operational resilience.
• Review architecture-level security solutions to transform them into cloud infrastructure implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS storage infrastructure and administration.
• Proficiency with NetApp filers, including ONTAP, Snapshots, and Snap Mirror.
• Expertise with NetBackup backup and recovery strategies to meet RTO and RPO goals.
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies for computing and storage.
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including encryption, key management, and identity management.
• Ability to translate architecture diagrams into functional cloud infrastructure designs.
• Experience managing compute, storage, network, and database cloud technologies.
