Description

Design and maintain self-healing, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure, storage appliances, and data protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Configure NetApp filers, managing Aggregates, Volumes, LUNs, Snapshots, and Snap Mirror for data protection.
• Execute data migrations to cloud environments using ONTAP.
• Automate patching, vulnerability remediation, and repeatable operational tasks.
• Translate architecture-level security solutions into functional cloud infrastructure implementations.
• Manage compute, storage, network, and database cloud technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on administration of SAN/NAS storage infrastructure.
• Proficiency with NetApp ONTAP, Snapshots, and Snap Mirror.
• Expertise with NetBackup backup and recovery strategies to meet RTO and RPO goals.
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies for computing and storage.
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including encryption, key management, and identity management.
• Ability to translate architecture diagrams into functional cloud infrastructure designs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data migration tools and strategies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation scripts.
