Description

Advise customers on secure cloud system design and implement security controls for cloud-native architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop security requirements into cloud-native architectures to meet business needs with appropriate controls.
• Perform reviews of multiple cloud platforms to assess cyber risks such as data leakage and unauthorized access.
• Develop cloud-specific security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide technical design and architecture advice to customer teams on securely developing cloud-ready applications.
• Create high-quality technical content, including security automation tools and reference architectures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security Architecture and/or Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in professional services consultancy, commercial cyber security, or information security.
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud platform security and compliance capabilities.
• Experience securing containerized technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture models, hosting, and deployment models.
• Experience integrating cloud services with cloud-native security mechanisms for protection, detection, and recovery.
• Broad awareness of security engineering concepts across the system development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Previous exposure to hybrid IT situations combining on-premise and cloud capabilities.
• Ability to articulate complex cloud topics and translate security terminology into business terms for senior stakeholders.
