Description
You will build and support cloud-native RAN infrastructure for telecom service providers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate 5G PHY systems within Linux-based containerized edge infrastructure.
- Build and support the deployment of physically distributed, cloud-native RAN systems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop a new 5G development platform for the open RAN space.
- Develop firmware and tooling to meet customer requirements and improve product functionality.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in system and software engineering.
- Expertise in Linux covering networking, deployment, image build, application, and kernel development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, virtualization, and orchestration.
- Strong Linux shell scripting skills.
- Experience with containerized (CaaS) systems.
- Undergraduate degree in software engineering.
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree in software engineering.
- Knowledge of wireless/cellular telecom, network function virtualization, and 5G edge deployments.
- Familiarity with Intel x86 architecture hardware implementation.
- Experience with open-source containerization code.
