Description

You will manage cloud infrastructure and database operations within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database architectures, including storage optimization and managed services selection.
• Execute database operations, covering backup methods, monitoring, and data recovery.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs using core Python.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery strategies and data protection protocols.
• Manage data virtualization technologies and storage options.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud or database engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and REST API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Deep understanding of database architecture and storage optimization.
• Knowledge of managed services, including their advantages and disadvantages.
• Experience with backup tools, monitoring, and data recovery processes.
• Familiarity with DR strategies and tools.
• Understanding of data virtualization technologies.
