Description

Build and support cloud-native RAN infrastructure for telecom service providers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate 5G PHY systems within Linux-based containerized edge infrastructure.
• Build and support deployment of physically distributed, cloud-native RAN systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop a new 5G development platform for open RAN.
• Develop firmware and tooling to meet customer requirements and improve product functionality.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in system and software engineering.
• Expertise in Linux covering networking, deployment, image build, application, and kernel development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, virtualization, and orchestration.
• Strong Linux shell scripting skills.
• Experience with containerized (CaaS) systems.
• Undergraduate degree in software engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in software engineering.
• Knowledge of wireless/cellular telecom, network function virtualization, and 5G edge deployments.
• Familiarity with Intel x86 architecture hardware implementation.
