Description

You will design, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-prem cloud migrations to Google Cloud Platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Manage Istio service mesh to control and secure microservice communications.
• Set up monitoring and logging tools to track infrastructure and microservice health.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver cloud solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Pub/Sub, Compute Engine, and Cloud Functions.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Practical experience implementing Istio service mesh for security and observability.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and management.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Elastic and Grafana.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Willingness to participate in a paid on-call rotation approximately every 4-6 weeks.
