Description

Lead cloud platform engineering, architecture, and technical operations for a Cloud Native AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teams of engineers and managers within the cloud engineering discipline.
• Drive DevSecOps best practices, security compliance, and incident response processes.
• Own cloud cost optimization, FinOps governance, and chargeback models.
• Build and deliver self-service platforms for CI/CD infrastructure and automated environment provisioning.
• Manage change management practices, vendor contracts, and automated controls for SOX and SOC-II audits.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of management experience directly supervising managers and teams.
• 5+ years of experience leading cloud platform or cloud engineering disciplines.
• Extensive experience with AWS architecture and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Proven expertise in DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and SRE concepts.
• Deep knowledge of multi-account and multi-region systems architecture.
• Experience implementing software delivery processes such as Agile or SAFe.
• Proficiency with modern monitoring tools like CloudWatch and DataDog to establish metrics and dashboards.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with modern programming languages.
