Description

You will manage and operate cloud-based web applications and supporting services, ensuring reliability and scalability through DevOps principles.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate web applications and services within AWS or Azure environments.
• Implement micro-services patterns and architectural best practices for scalable systems.
• Maintain infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional team objectives.
• Manage large code bases and ensure robust Linux networking fundamentals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud engineering.
• Proficiency with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and networking.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of scaling strategies and micro-services patterns.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills

• French language proficiency.
• Ability to work on a hybrid model near Lisbon or Porto.
