Description

You will act as the technical subject matter expert to resolve deployment obstacles and improve cloud infrastructure for internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Consult with engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles in Google Cloud.
• Troubleshoot, reproduce, and determine root causes for customer-reported issues across GCP services.
• Build diagnostic tools to accelerate root cause determination.
• Confirm support for production systems operating at scale.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• 1-5+ years experience with core GCP offerings: IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Security controls, Storage, and Compute.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP native offerings: GKE Enterprise, Serverless, BigData, and Data analytics (Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, BQ).
• Software development experience in Python or Go.
• Strong background in Container and Orchestration Technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cloud architecture principles to ensure high availability and security.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and OTEL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Istio and Service Mesh concepts for traffic flow management.
• FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge.
