Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert for internal engineering, sales, and customer teams, resolving technical deployment obstacles and optimizing Google Cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement immutable infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Manage and troubleshoot GKE Enterprise, Serverless, and Big Data services including Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
• Ensure high availability and security across GCP foundational offerings such as IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, and Storage.
• Support production systems at scale, diagnosing root causes for customer-reported issues and building diagnostic tools.

Required Skills

• 1-5+ years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools, specifically Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in GCP cloud foundational services (IAM, VPC, Security controls, Compute, Storage).
• Experience with container orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Software development experience in an object-oriented language: Java, Go, or Python.
• Understanding of traffic flow management, Service Mesh concepts (Istio preferred), and GTM/LTM.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and OTEL.

Preferred Skills

• FinOps (cloud cost management) domain knowledge.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
