Summary

PayPal Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team is looking for a Systems Engineer that will be responsible for infrastructure in the PayPal production environment. The individual will be work with a team of engineers on hardware SKU evaluation, development and certification. The job includes engineering, deployment and L2/L3 support of production services.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience working in a large-scale production environment
• Experience with hardware component testing and certification
• Experience with Cobbler or other bare metal provisioning solutions
• Experience in developing and deploying “rack ‘n roll” system integrated solutions
• Experience with Shell, Perl, Python
• Experience with Linux configuration and performance tuning
• Experience with systems configuration management and CI automation
• Experience with OpenStack and Containers
• Strong communication and documentation skills
