Design and maintain scalable applications using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable applications using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain MongoDB schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Integrate AWS web services into applications to support deployment and scaling.
• Write clean, maintainable code, conduct unit testing, and debug for application reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues across environments including production and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Node.js development role.
• 3+ years of experience developing high-availability and performant systems using AWS services.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with NestJS, Express.js, or similar frameworks to build RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data and log storage.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Proficiency with Git for source code maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Developer Certification.
• Knowledge of notification services including SMTP, SMS gateways, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), or Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).
