Description

You will design and implement IoT solutions and backend services on AWS, focusing on serverless architectures and strong observability.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and serverless applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design IoT solutions using AWS IoT Core and implement event-driven microservices.
• Build monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.
• Integrate real-time data processing using services like Kinesis and DynamoDB.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in cloud engineering or backend development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript with Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core, AWS Lambda, and Amazon CloudWatch.
• Practical knowledge of AWS X-Ray for distributed tracing and debugging.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with DynamoDB, Kinesis, and EventBridge.
• Strong understanding of observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT and HTTP.
• Exposure to real-time data processing systems.
