Key Skills: SQL DBA, SQL Server, Azure

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance database solutions across Azure and on-premises environments.
• Develop data models and schemas for structured and unstructured data.
• Lead end-to-end migration, modernization, and validation of on-premises databases to Azure with minimal downtime and strong data integrity.
• Perform database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization; monitor and troubleshoot performance across environments.
• Ensure security, encryption, role-based access control, and auditing to meet compliance requirements.
• Extend hybrid management and governance using Azure Arc and manage database workloads across hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and DevOps teams; provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior database staff.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in SQL DBA and SQL Server database administration.
• Experience with MySQL DBA and Oracle database administration.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud database environments and Azure Arc.
• Experience in database migration, modernization, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with database security, encryption, RBAC, and auditing practices.
• Understanding of backup, recovery, monitoring, and database governance.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with DevOps, software, and data engineering teams.
• Experience supporting cloud and hybrid database platforms.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
