Description

Lead the migration of on-premises applications and data to AWS, focusing on networking and security for modernized environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture and design decisions regarding AWS service selection and interactions.
• Manage networking requirements between modernized applications and on-premises or cloud services.
• Implement data migration strategies from on-premises databases to AWS Aurora.
• Support the Agreement to Operate (ATO) process.
• Evaluate performance results to recommend architectural changes for major technology assignments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and application migration.
• Expert-level proficiency in DevSecOps.
• Expertise in Cloud Migration Planning and Execution.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: RDS, Aurora, ECS, EKS, S3, VPC, ELB, Route53, and CloudFront.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in software development or systems software engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with AWS Fargate.
