Description

You will design, deploy, and operate production Kubernetes clusters while developing and containerizing Java microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate production Kubernetes clusters using EKS, AKS, or GKE.
• Manage Kubernetes internals including workload scheduling, RBAC, network policies, and cluster autoscaling.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Develop microservices with Java and Spring Boot, ensuring robust REST APIs and event-driven design.
• Containerize Java applications, managing images and tuning JVM settings for container environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (self-managed or managed services).
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals: Helm/Kustomize, Operators, and scheduling.
• 3+ years of experience developing microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Experience with container image management using Docker and container registries.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
