Description

Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud applications and infrastructure using Java and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement resilient cloud solutions that meet performance and security requirements.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging Java technologies.
• Automate the provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of cloud resources.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and security compliance.
• Integrate cloud services into existing applications by collaborating with software developers and architects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with serverless computing and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud computing certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Developer Associate.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
