Description

You will build and maintain cloud-native applications and infrastructure on-site in San Diego.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement services using Core Java, J2EE, and Microservices patterns.
• Manage and operate container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and ECS.
• Implement data processing pipelines utilizing AWS Glue with Apache Spark and Amazon EMR.
• Integrate and manage messaging systems, including Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Develop REST-based web services and write SQL queries against MySQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and MVC.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, MSK, Kinesis, and Lambda.
• Expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes and ECS.
• Solid understanding of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience implementing Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Kafka and other message queues.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and writing design documentation (UML).
