Cloud ETL Developer

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data warehouse schemas for business intelligence initiatives. You will own the end-to-end data integration lifecycle, from gathering requirements to delivering robust datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and support data warehouse database and table schemas for new and existing data sources.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformation logic using Azure Databricks and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to populate the data hub and ensure accurate data integration.
• Translate client and product strategy requirements into detailed dataset specifications and user stories.
• Create technical documentation, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Office and Azure tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience delivering business data analysis, ETL processes, and business intelligence solutions.
• Expertise writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Proficiency in SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), T-SQL, and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with Azure Databricks for data processing and transformation.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS for spatial data handling and analysis.
• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst using Scrum methodology.
• Proven ability to manage Product and Sprint backlogs.
• Knowledge of enterprise data management principles, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).

Preferred Skills

• Advanced understanding of data integration, database architecture, and data modeling.
• Experience with Azure technologies including Data Factory v2, Azure Synapse, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with Kimball and Inmon data warehousing architectures.
