Description

You will own the execution of cloud financial operations strategies across multi-cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute cloud financial operations strategies to optimize spending across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Manage the cloud financial reporting lifecycle, including cost allocation and chargeback administration.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to implement cost-saving opportunities and resource utilization improvements.
• Enforce multi-cloud governance policies and manage infrastructure request intake and tagging compliance.
• Provide executive guidance on cloud cost optimization and governance principles to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience managing concurrent projects in a multi-cloud enterprise.
• Strong technical and financial understanding of AWS and Azure resources and pricing models.
• Proficiency in cloud financial management principles and the FinOps Framework.
• Expertise analyzing complex cloud billing and utilization data for operational insights.
• Proven success implementing impactful FinOps and governance initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) certification.
• Experience with cloud management and FinOps tools like Apptio or Cloudability.
