Description

You will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services on Azure to support web and API-based applications. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to deliver repeatable, compliant environments.
• Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service clusters, including deployment, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting across dev/test/prod.
• Support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including automated builds, deployments, and environment provisioning.
• Monitor system health, performance, and cost using Prometheus and Grafana to identify risks and optimization opportunities.
• Enforce security, governance, and compliance controls, and maintain certificates to ensure consistent uptime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud or Infrastructure Engineer, primarily in Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerized workloads.
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, access management, and cloud security.
• Proficiency with Git and branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow).
• Knowledge of performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery design.
• Familiarity with React and .NET application stacks from a platform support perspective.

Preferred Skills

• Experience modernizing legacy applications to cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Azure Policy and governance frameworks.
• Exposure to monitoring tools including Loki and OpenTelemetry.
