Description

You will lead the containerization of legacy VM-based applications and manage cloud-native infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy applications to determine containerization readiness and design implementation approaches.
• Create Docker container definitions and Kubernetes manifests for deployment.
• Refactor and package applications for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS ECS, or Azure Container Apps.
• Configure container registries, image versioning, and secure execution environments.
• Document containerization workflows, migration steps, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and containerizing legacy applications.
• Proficiency in managing workloads within Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes or managed services such as AKS, ECS, or Azure Container Apps.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD workflows and build pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud-native networking and storage considerations.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Exposure to container observability tools like Prometheus, Azure Monitor, or CloudWatch.
