You will own cloud infrastructure engineering, migration, and support operations for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve infrastructure issues and provide escalation support for outages.
Analyze existing on-premises environments and collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies, including timelines and risk assessments.
Design and execute migration plans using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to ensure system integrity, security, and governance adherence.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated applications to confirm functionality and performance in the new cloud environment.
Maintain cloud environments by monitoring performance, implementing Azure backups, and supporting Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and planning.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, specifically with AWS and Azure.
Strong proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Migration projects, moving workloads from on-premises to cloud environments.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
Experience with ITSM practices, Jira, and ITIL Change and Incident Management.
Ability to manage 24x7 on-call rotations and provide Level 3 Cloud Engineering support for incident resolution.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation tools.
Preferred Skills
Relevant cloud certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Experience mentoring junior team members and supporting Level 1/2 CloudOps teams.
