Description

You will design and execute cloud infrastructure migrations from AWS to OCI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing AWS infrastructure and design equivalent or optimized OCI architecture.
• Develop and execute detailed migration plans, including timelines, risk assessments, and rollback strategies.
• Perform workload migration across compute, storage, databases, networking, and security configurations.
• Implement automation using Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager.
• Monitor and troubleshoot post-migration issues while optimizing OCI resources for cost and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and migration.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS, ELB, CloudWatch) and OCI services (Compute, Block, Object Storage, Networking, IAM).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Shell, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies (e.g., CloudEndure, OCI Migration tools).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Oracle database environments.
