Description

Lead infrastructure migrations and maintain production-grade environments across on-prem, public, and hybrid clouds.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale infrastructure migration programs from on-premises to public and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Support and maintain production-grade environments for Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Astronomer.
• Manage cluster configurations, upgrades, and migrations on Red Hat Linux 8 in virtual machines.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications in Kubernetes environments (OpenShift or GKE).
• Optimize troubleshooting efforts and apply performance tuning to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of total experience.
• 5+ years of Unix/Linux system administration experience.
• 3+ years supporting production-grade Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Astronomer.
• 2+ years using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• 2+ years with Google Cloud Platform, including PSC, Interconnect, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and Memory Store.
• Experience deploying COTS apps in K8 environments like OpenShift or GKE.
• Proficiency with automation tools: Ansible, Shell Scripts, Python, or Java.
• Strong Linux performance monitoring, security setup, and patching skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with change management, incident management, RFC, problem management, and RCA.
• Working knowledge of monitoring tools.
