Description

You will implement, integrate, and maintain cloud and commercial Kubernetes distributions within client ecosystems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate application requirements into system designs for Kubernetes CaaS platforms.
• Implement and integrate cloud and commercial Kubernetes distributions into client environments.
• Evaluate legacy application designs and recommend redesign changes for Kubernetes CaaS functionality.
• Lead problem resolution for business-impacting failures to meet platform service level objectives.
• Coordinate resources across engineering teams to restore service during disruptions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with deployment and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and OpenShift.
• 3+ years of experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience creating and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines.
• Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, hosted services, and multi-tenant cloud infrastructures.
• Experience with the Linux kernel.
• Knowledge of API design and implementation.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as New Relic or Prometheus/Grafana.
• AWS Professional Certification or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
