Description

You will design and implement operating environments for applications within a Kubernetes CaaS platform.

Responsibilities

• Integrate cloud and commercial Kubernetes distributions into existing ecosystems.
• Translate application requirements into technical system requirements for Kubernetes environments.
• Evaluate legacy application designs and recommend redesigns necessary for CaaS functionality.
• Lead resolution for business-impacting failures to meet platform service level objectives.
• Manage on-call responsibilities and coordinate with peer engineering teams during service disruptions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift.
• 3+ years of experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience creating and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines.
• Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and multi-tenant cloud infrastructures.
• Experience with the Linux kernel.
• Knowledge of API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as New Relic or Prometheus/Grafana.
• AWS Professional Certification.
• CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
