Description

Implement and run infrastructure based on architect designs, focusing on stability and automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Run infrastructure using Terraform, Azure PaaS, and Kubernetes.
• Debug production issues across various services and stack levels.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and document findings to drive automation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to availability incidents and support service engineers.
• Improve deployment processes and monitoring to focus on symptoms rather than outages.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in infrastructure or related engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Database skills in SQL and Mongo.
• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Akamai.
• Monitoring expertise using Azure App Insights and Dynatrace.
• Scripting and CI/CD with PowerShell, Bash, GitHub Actions, and Azure YML.
• Version control with ADO Repos and GitHub.
• Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, Telnet, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
