Description

Lead the architecture and engineering of AWS cloud infrastructure for existing services and new projects. Own the release pipeline, optimize assets for performance and cost efficiency, and support the upkeep of SaaS, PaaS, and in-house applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and engineer cloud infrastructure within AWS to support greenfield and existing projects.
• Maintain and optimize cloud assets for performance and cost efficiency.
• Document cloud architecture and processes to support the Head of Technology.
• Respond to technical incidents, including providing out-of-hours and on-call support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of experience in an AWS engineering role or equivalent professional certifications.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cloud service models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and audit preparation.
• Experience working within agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
