Description

You will design, implement, and operate hybrid cloud infrastructure across on-premises and GCP environments. You will own the platform lifecycle, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure, virtualization (VMware), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Design secure network architectures, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, and zero-trust principles.
• Lead database migration initiatives, establishing failover, replication, and high-availability strategies.
• Mentor engineering teams on DevSecOps best practices, automation, and incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes, including upgrades, feature enablement, and deployment strategies.
• Experience with VMware and NSX for virtualization management.
• Proven ability to design secure network models using firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices for infrastructure and DevOps workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API gateway platforms and cloud-native integration services.
• Familiarity with advanced database platforms and data streaming technologies.
