Description

You will manage on-premises tools and execute application-level upgrades and optimizations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve monitoring and alerting systems using NewRelic and Splunk.
• Build automation and self-service tools to support users and administrators.
• Collaborate with infrastructure support teams to manage software patching and hardware updates.
• Lead the evaluation of Atlassian Cloud and execute the Jira Cloud migration.
• Educate engineering teams on technical best practices and system standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Jira Data Center administration at enterprise scale.
• 2+ years of Jira Cloud administration at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Cloud preparation and migration.
• Proficiency in RedHat Linux system administration and programming.
• Fluency in Java, scripting languages, Oracle, and SQL databases.
• Experience with tool integrations, specifically Jira and GitHub.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian products, GitHub, and orchestration tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills for front-end and back-end challenges.
• Ability to communicate complex engineering initiatives to both developers and non-technical users.

Preferred Skills

• Confluence Cloud exposure and migration experience.
• Knowledge of AWS or other public cloud offerings.
