Description

Lead the design, implementation, and management of highly available, multi-region cloud solutions and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-region Azure solutions, including VM provisioning, configuration, and performance monitoring.
• Manage Linux systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments, handling patching, OS upgrades, and complex troubleshooting.
• Automate operational support processes using Ansible, Terraform, and shell scripting.
• Configure and administer virtual networks, security groups, IAM roles, and encryption to ensure policy governance.
• Drive the diagnosis and resolution of complex system issues and outages to meet SLAs and KPIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud and systems administration.
• Strong expertise in Linux, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficiency with shell scripting, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite, Capsule, and Red Hat Portal for patch management.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience managing filesystems including GPFS, GFS, and LVM.
• Knowledge of Solaris and Client-UX.
• Competency in RAID, configuration management, and backup strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
