Description

You will lead the design, planning, and execution of migrating on-premises infrastructure to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive migration strategies, workload assessments, and phased roadmaps for transitioning on-premises environments to Azure.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure architectures covering IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
• Execute end-to-end migration processes including data center consolidation, re-platforming, re-hosting, and application modernization.
• Manage lift and shift operations in AVS environments, working with landing zones and multi-tenant environments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and high availability while enforcing security and governance practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale, multi-phased cloud migrations.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure services including computing, storage, networking, security, and identity management.
• Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate, ASR, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and ARM templates.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps workflows.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
• Deep understanding of hybrid cloud setups and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance in regulated industries.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
