Description

Lead the migration of the platform from AWS to GCP, focusing on GKE-based Evergreen platform.

Responsibilities

  • Refactor existing AWS Terraform configurations into GCP-native modules for infrastructure transition.
  • Develop and implement GitHub Actions pipelines for IaC and application deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with DRE, Application, Security, and FinOps teams on security, cost, and reliability standards.
  • Create reusable, well-documented Terraform and Helm modules for ongoing migrations.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE, Helm, and Argo CD.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of OIDC integration.
  • Understanding of security practices, IAM, and secrets management.
  • Familiarity with observability tools like OpenTelemetry and New Relic.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience aligning infrastructure changes with FinOps requirements.
