Description

You will lead the migration of virtual machines, databases, and workloads to the cloud while designing landing zones and automating the process.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct infrastructure discovery and assessment to develop migration strategies, including inventory, wave planning, and cost analysis.
• Design and deploy cloud landing zone architecture, implementing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines for automation.
• Execute phased migrations (rehost, replatform, refactor) for Windows and Linux environments, supporting Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Provide end-to-end transaction tracing, diagnostics, and topology visualization with proactive alerting and security monitoring.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to staff, ensuring post-migration stabilization and ongoing operational support.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud migration.
• Direct experience deploying enterprise-grade cloud migration solutions.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL database migration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to create architecture and design documents from gathered requirements.
• Experience with gap analysis and current/future state documentation.
• Strong communication and consensus-building skills in multi-project environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in public sector or education industries.
