Description

Lead the migration and administration of Oracle databases across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases in production and non-production environments.
• Plan and execute database migrations to AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with minimal downtime.
• Automate routine DBA tasks, backups, and monitoring using Shell scripting.
• Perform cloud database provisioning, performance tuning, patching, and backup/recovery operations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure database security, access control, and compliance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration and cloud migration.
• Deep expertise in Oracle DBA roles specifically with 11g, 12c, and 19c versions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, Azure SQL, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency with data migration tools including Data Pump, RMAN, and GoldenGate.
• Strong Shell scripting skills for administrative automation.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle internals, performance tuning, indexing, and partitioning.
• Experience managing database security and organizational compliance policies.
• Ability to document complex architectures, configurations, and procedures.

Preferred Skills

• B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc degree.
