Description

You will manage application and database migrations to multi-cloud environments throughout the project delivery cycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute application and database migrations to Azure and AWS public clouds.
• Build IaaS and PaaS infrastructure landing zones.
• Implement cloud migration techniques and workflows from on-premise to cloud platforms.
• Perform discovery and assessment of application portfolios to create modernization roadmaps.
• Integrate public cloud solutions into traditional hosting and delivery models.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of total professional experience with at least 3 years specifically in cloud migration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure public cloud providers.
• Experience migrating databases including Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, and PostgreSQL.
• 2+ years of experience with PaaS, DevOps, and advanced application coding.
• 2+ years of experience in application transformation, modernization, and data migration projects.
• Proficiency in Java, .NET, .NET Core, PHP, Perl, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD, source code repositories, and configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, including load balancing, web servers, CDN, and caching.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with NoSQL and MongoDB.
• Public cloud certifications in Azure or AWS.
• Working knowledge of Ora2PG, Ispirer, PgAdmin, SQL Developer, or DBeaver.
