Description

Lead the migration of on-premises NetApp NAS storage to AWS cloud solutions, owning the end-to-end process from data analysis to execution and validation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate NAS volumes and perform data analysis to determine appropriate AWS target storage (S3, EFS, EBS).
• Migrate shares and volumes to AWS services in collaboration with application teams.
• Assist developers in assessing code or access modifications required for new AWS targets.
• Execute data restructuring, offloading, and migration activities including change management.
• Manage service requests and change requests within ServiceNow through to completion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data migration or cloud architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in AWS architecture, specifically S3, EFS, and EBS.
• Experience migrating CIFS and NFS protocols from on-premises NetApp NAS.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS file structures.
• Proficiency with migration tools such as Robocopy and SharePoint.
• Ability to manage data classification analysis, including PII and Restricted data.
• Understanding of network connectivity, access controls, and firewalls for end-to-end migration validation.
• Experience using ServiceNow for change management and tracking.
