Description

You will develop within a large polyglot codebase using pair programming and Test Driven Development (TDD), while mentoring other engineers and breaking down complex problems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a large polyglot codebase using Java 11, Spring Boot, VueJS, Angular, and NoSQL databases.
• Engage in full-time pair programming, exchanging continuous feedback with teammates.
• Research complex problems, breaking them into discrete, actionable parts.
• Perform log analysis, metric analysis, and data visualization using Dynatrace, Humio, and streaming data tools.
• Mentor other engineers in a professional setting.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional programming experience.
• Proficiency in Java 11 and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with frontend frameworks VueJS and Angular.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with AWS and Pivotal Cloud Foundry/Tanzu Application Service.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Concourse CI/CD.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ, MacOS, Postman, JMeter, YourKit, and Swagger-UI.
• Experience with log analysis, streaming data, and streaming metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a pair programming environment.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
