Description

You will design and implement auto-scaling solutions for cloud-native workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring high availability and performance of mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain auto-scaling infrastructure using KEDA and related frameworks for GCP environments.
• Integrate GCP-native services such as Pub/Sub, GKE Ingress, and Kafka to support event-driven scaling.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and Spinnaker.
• Analyze application traffic patterns with DevOps and SRE teams to define precise scaling triggers.
• Drive best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation while ensuring observability of scaling behavior.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud-native infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Deep expertise with KEDA or similar auto-scaling frameworks in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Pub/Sub, GKE, and Ingress controllers.
• Proficiency in event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines with practical experience in Argo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and Spinnaker.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, and YAML.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code tools.

Preferred Skills

• GCP certifications (Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect).
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.
