Description

You will manage the implementation, administration, and support of network devices and infrastructure in Atlanta, GA.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and monitor routers, switches, firewalls, and other network appliances.
• Design, configure, and deploy WAN and site-to-site VPN solutions.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN performance and connectivity issues.
• Prepare network diagrams and technical documentation.
• Manage the network ticket queue and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Strong experience with router and switch configuration.
• Experience in firewall deployment, administration, and VPNs.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and protocols including FTP, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Proficiency in LAN/WAN management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or NSE.
• Experience with Fortinet Fortigate, F5 LTM/ASM, Arista EOS, Gigamon Gigavue, Cisco Nexus, Cisco IOS, Cisco ASA/Firepower, or Cisco ACI.
• Proficiency with packet capture and analysis.
