Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of network migration from on-premises Juniper-based infrastructure to AWS.
• Map existing Juniper and Cisco network configurations to AWS networking services including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and NACLs.
• Design and validate secure network connectivity using routing, VPN, firewall, and segmentation controls.
• Define testing approaches for redundancy, failover, and network reliability across hybrid environments.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures for ongoing support and migration readiness.

Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper and Cisco network environments, including routing, switching, and firewall platforms.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking and enterprise network migration patterns.
• Strong command of BGP, OSPF, VPN, IPsec, SSL VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting secure, resilient network architectures across on-prem and cloud environments.
• 13-15 years of relevant network engineering experience, including 2-3 years in a technical lead or principal capacity.
