Description

You will own the delivery, support, and maintenance of production networking services in a technical operations environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine networking solutions for AWS landing zone services, tools, and processes.
• Manage technical recovery of production services during major incidents.
• Improve operational processes and procedures as a change agent.
• Provide technical analysis for tactical and strategic planning.
• Coach and mentor staff through regular performance feedback and goal definition.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud networking and technical operations.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPCs, Subnets, Route tables, NAT configuration, and Security Groups.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud providers.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeCommit.
• Strong networking knowledge including Cloud Load Balancers, Route53, VPN Gateways, and Elastic IPs.
• Experience with Python scripting in both Windows and *nix environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, and DNS issues.
• Experience with Cloud Monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and DataDog.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and checkpoint firewall infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
• Background in PaaS or IaaS solutions and cloud-native microservices.
