Description

You will manage and support enterprise LAN/WAN environments while ensuring secure hybrid connectivity between on-prem infrastructure and cloud providers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Cisco routing and switching hardware including Nexus, Catalyst, ISR, and ASR.
• Manage firewalls and VPN appliances such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Firepower.
• Support enterprise networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, HSRP, and DMVPN.
• Validate hybrid connectivity using Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, CloudWAN, ExpressRoute, and VPN tunnels.
• Assist with Terraform-based provisioning templates for network peering and gateways.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ISR/ASR, ASA, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, HSRP, MPLS, DMVPN, VLANs, NAT, ACLs, and IPsec tunnels.
• Experience supporting high-availability networks in regulated industries.
• Familiarity with hybrid connectivity to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with LAN/WAN architectures.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP or equivalent experience, with CCIE preferred.
• Exposure to Terraform, Kubernetes networking, or cloud network design.
• Scripting knowledge in Python or Bash for network automation.
