Description

You will own the design, management, and optimisation of cloud networking and cost governance across AWS and Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and support multi-region, HA/DR network architectures across AWS and Azure.
• Maintain and optimise VNets, VPCs, NSGs, UDRs, Load Balancers, and DNS.
• Implement automated FinOps controls, tagging compliance, and cost guardrails across AWS and Azure.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and availability issues.
• Analyse cloud expenditure, forecast costs, and advise on pricing models to reduce cloud spend.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in AWS and Azure Networking services.
• Proficiency with core networking components: VNets, VPCs, NSGs, UDRs, Load Balancers, Routing, and IP Addressing.
• Experience implementing and managing Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and tagging.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure Cost Management, Cost Explorer, and budget controls.
• Ability to build dashboards and financial reports for cost allocation and chargeback.
• Experience operating within strict governance or regulated environments.
• Strong skills in cost-compliance scripting and automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud cost optimization strategies.
