Description

You will lead the design, maintenance, and documentation of core network infrastructure components across multiple environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions ensuring system health, performance, and availability across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Build, maintain, and document infrastructure components, performing technical reviews to ensure quality.
• Propose high-level architectural guidelines and advocate for technology improvements that reduce expenses or increase efficiency.
• Create technical documentation and specifications to deliver improved resiliency and high availability.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years supporting and maintaining Palo Alto Network Security platforms, including setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Extensive experience crafting and understanding Palo Alto firewall rule deployments in large, shared environments.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Cisco network technologies.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience with F5 load balancer technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN designs and large network deployment support processes.
• Significant experience with IPSec/VPN technology supporting large enterprises.
• Proficiency with network traffic analysis using TCPDump and Wireshark.
• Programming experience with Python, Ansible, and Terraform for automation services.
• Knowledge of GCP, Azure, AWS, Panorama, TCP/IP, and Automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other firewall technologies in Cloud Environments (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP network models.
