Description

You will define the standards, protocols, and tools required to manage the ongoing operations and support of a new Financials SaaS solution.

Responsibilities

• Define job cycles for nightly, daily, weekend, quarterly, and annual operational requirements.
• Design and implement cross-system monitoring solutions covering Cloud SaaS, legacy on-premises vendors, and responsible services.
• Oversee operational support tasks including data backups, application/network performance tuning, and load balancing.
• Monitor Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics and vendor data security protocols.
• Determine timing and procedures for software upgrades and coordinate maintenance with system integrators and vendors.
• Manage end-user security and monitor infrastructure performance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations leadership or architecture roles.
• Minimum of 3 years of implementation experience in data integration, application development, APIs, database administration, or systems administration.
• Experience with SaaS cloud implementations and migrating legacy on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/VPN and remote network technologies.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, Ethernet, and protocols such as CORBA, PPTP, HTML CGI, ATM, or CDPD.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Arcnet, and groupware products.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Experience with DevOps within an Agile environment.
