Description

Design and operate secure, highly available cloud network architectures across AWS and Azure with a focus on hybrid connectivity and automated remediation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-region cloud network architectures with failover and resiliency strategies.
• Deploy and manage hybrid connectivity using AWS Transit Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, and Megaport VXCs.
• Operate and configure virtual firewalls, including Palo Alto VM-Series and Cisco CSR 8000v.
• Automate vulnerability scanning and remediation using Qualys, Tenable, PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Manage software deployment and patching via SCCM, Group Policy, and other enterprise tools.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in cloud network engineering, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Deep knowledge of VPC/VNet peering, NSGs, Security Groups, and ACLs.
• Hands-on experience with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, Perl, and Bash.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools: Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, OpenVAS.
• Knowledge of software deployment tools: SCCM, Puppet, Chef, BigFix.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-native load balancing (AWS ELB, Azure Load Balancer).
• Familiarity with network security constructs and compliance alignment.
