Description

Lead the design, implementation, and operation of cloud network and security infrastructure on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS network and security architectures.
• Manage AWS services including S3, Load Balancers, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, IPSec VPN, WAF, Network Firewall, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Security Hub, SCP, IAM, and Control Tower.
• Oversee AWS Landing Zone management and implement architectural improvements.
• Lead a team of cloud engineers, setting performance expectations and providing technical mentorship.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and operational procedures to ensure business uptime and SLA compliance.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of total IT experience, with 3-5 years in cloud network and security operations.
• 2+ years of recent, hands-on AWS experience.
• Expertise in AWS networking and security services: DNS, Load Balancing, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect.
• Experience managing Palo Alto Firewalls for 24/7 cloud support.
• Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proven experience in team management and project scoping, planning, and execution.
• Strong documentation skills for defining guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work late hours or holidays with short notice when required.
• BE/B Tech degree from a Tier II engineering college.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
